    Fifa Game Series

So, I know theres a few of you on here who have it....

Haven't got WC2010, but Fifa 10 is awesome in my opinion and is a improvement on 09.

    What do you think?

FIFA has been a lot better since 08. I stuck by EA when Pro Evo was better but those days are long gone now. One thing with 2010 though, never play as Argentina!!!

I'll have to agree with you there.

I swear they completely changed the gamplay from 07 to 08?

And yeah you know only too well not to play as them ;)

I had you so penned back in your own box it was hilarious.

I was a Pro Evo guy up until Fifa 09 was released, but the last two Fifa games have been phenomenal. Despite 09 being excellent, '10 was a marked improvement, and the release of the Ultimate Team midway through the season has kept me interested, meaning this game has a minimum 12 month lifespan.

On another note, did anyone play the early Fifa games? I remember having Fifa Road To World Cup '98, which at the time was amazing. You could create your own teams and players (including kits), and they even had a 5-a-side indoor football game that was so much fun to play. I wish they'd resurrect that aspect of it, although I guess that's what Fifa Street was for.

I wouldn't recommend the World Cup game until a squad update is released. The teams are woefully wrong and it does spoil the atmosphere of the game.

I have to disagree, despite the squads being a little wrong. The World Cup Game is definitely worth buying. It's as good as Fifa 10, and has a good number of tweaks that take it that extra step. I would definitely recommend.

Nony, Fifa 98 road to WC was awesome. Those were the days when you could intentionally hack down the keeper when he had the ball safely in his hands. Epic!

A great soccer game, can't remember if it was a Fifa game or not was Euro 2000, just fantatic gameplay and you could do a injury sliding tackle.

Surely if these upgrades are so good they'll just be incorporated in Fifa 11? I presume that 11 will be out in early October, and will be stunning as always. And yes Round To The World Cup '98 was awesome, nothing quite like easily rounding the keeper, and sliding out the keeper without the fear of retribution.

Yeh, they should do. I'm sure they'll find other perks to add on with it.

Have you played it (World Cup Game)?
