That's right, I'm bringing it back once again... if enough people are interested. In the past, Chris_k has helped run this competition, and assuming he signs up he will again. Let me know if your down for it, aiming for 8/12/16 people, preferably 12. Rules and such will be posted in the competiton thread once I have the people who are interested, for those of you who haven't been a part of it before here's a brief outline.
"YBTB is a fantasy booking competition, contested over several rounds with everyone facing off against everyone else in one on one competition each round. Scenarios are judged by the other competitors in the round to decide a winner. The competitors will also decide an overall best of round (BOR). The person judged BOR will receive an additional bonus point. Word limits and time limits exist for each round, as well as other limits or stipulations that must be met, and at the end of the league a winner will be declared"
So if your interested, let me know. If enough people join up, we can get this thing started.

I'm excited for Nintendo finally taking gaming seriously. I'm excited for Kid Icarus. I never played the original but I've never heard a bad word against it and it looks pretty sweet. I'm REALLY REALLY excited for new Donkey Kong Country. After the bullshit that NIntendo did to DK on the Game Cube its nice to see them finally take the franchise seriously. I grew up playing Classic Nintendo games. I remember Star Fox 64. Legend of Zelda OOT was the greatest thing ever. Your going to give me them in 3D Nintendo? I'm down. Like seriously fucking down for that. Then your going to put Goldeneye on the Wii? Seriously? FUCKING A
I haven't brought any of the current game consoles. I still play my PS2. None of them have interested me. Nintendo have finally got me interested in the next Generation.

BTW guys, if this does actually get off the ground, can we not have any of the restrictions on Paul London? Pig-E's infectious admiration has rubbed off on me (yes, picture his infection rubbing off on me, gross) and I have a hankering to book Paul London in a 200 man gauntlet match at number 1 for every belt ever and have him win it with an array of hurricanranas and school boy roll ups.

If it is, it's changed beyond all recognition from the contest I debuted on the main page back in '04 (or was it 05?).
It was only meant to be fun for the guys reading it. For the competitors it was supposed to be absolutely torturous, like a Japanese gameshow.
Glad to see people are still getting a kick out of it. Do you guys still have anything like the 'reigning champion' concept?
It was fun back on the old Off YBTB forum. Granted, that wasn't exactly the championship matches you had in your columns, but t was generally the same idea for the most part.
